About Me

My name is Olivia, and thank you for coming to my blog! I’m thrilled you’d like to learn more about me, this blog, and what makes me who I am.

I graduated in 2018 from the University of Delaware with a degree in Cognitive Science, and minors in Psychology and Entrepreneurship. I enjoyed every second of college, spending my time participating and leading multiple activities across all parts of campus life. I was a founding member of my sorority, the DE Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi, and served as the sorority’s second Chapter President. I was a committee member, chair, and Director for UDance–the University of Delaware’s student-run, 12-hour dance marathon that has raised over $16 million dollars benefiting childhood cancer research.

I worked both as the Newsletter Director and as a Writing Center Lead Consultant UD’s Writing Center, helping both undergraduates and graduates improve their written communication skills.

After graduating, I have been working as the Business Development Associate for a B2B software company. Professionally, I am a self-starter, fast learner, and an eager team member. Some of my favorite opportunities I’ve had in my career have been the projects where I’ve been able to take initiative and combine my organizational and creative skills. Since joining the team, I have designed and maintained our sales pipeline management tool, meaningfully assisted both clients and prospects with solutioning, and even co-hosted our company’s podcast, On The Record.

No matter what I’ve done, I’ve found that I’m at my best when I’m able connect with others in meaningful ways; whether it’s through the sales process, a podcast interview, or a one-on-one conversation. I believe people have an innate need to not only be heard, but truly understood. And I’m happiest when I’m part of a team helping them do just that.
